Marina Takagi Cobb, MSCC

Marina Takagi Cobb is the Department Head of the Medicare Compliance Practice Group at Brady, Connolly, & Masuda, P.C. She began her legal career in the BCM Medicare Compliance Practice Group, later expanding into workers’ compensation litigation. With her extensive Medicare compliance background and practice of Workers’ Compensation litigation, Ms. Cobb has a personalized approach to each case to find the most cost-saving solution from all vantage points. Ms. Cobb has extensive experience with all aspects of Medicare Secondary Payer compliance issues, including but not limited to: preparation and submission of Medicare Set-Aside (MSA) proposals, preparation and resolution of non-submit MSA’s, conditional payments/past Medicare payments investigation and negotiation, Medicaid lien investigation and negotiation, and preparation of settlement contracts to consider Medicare’s interests and protecting the interests of her clients.
Prior to working for BCM, Ms. Cobb completed several externships/internships around the state of Indiana and Illinois, including a judicial externship in LaPorte County and for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. In addition to her past experiences and practice at the Firm, Ms. Cobb is currently a member of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, as well as the National Alliance of Medicare Set-Aside Professionals. Ms. Cobb is a Medicare Set-Aside Certified Consultant.
