Markeya A. Fowler

Markeya A. Fowler is a Partner at Brady, Connolly & Masuda. Markeya focuses her practice in the area of workers’ compensation defense. Prior to joining the firm, Markeya practiced insurance defense and civil litigation. Markeya has successfully defended her client’s interests at both the Arbitration and Circuit Court level in the Chicagoland and surrounding counties by securing favorable outcomes through oral arguments at the Circuit Court level and trials at the Arbitration level.
Markeya earned her law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. While attending law school, Markeya worked as a Student Advocate at the Beazley Institute for Health Law and Policy and served on the executive board of the Journal of Regulatory Compliance. Markeya was also a legal extern at the American Medical Association’s Advocacy Resource Department where she researched and assisted in developing state regulatory guidelines for medical providers. Markeya is a member of the Black Women’s Lawyer Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Defense Counsel.
