Jeffrey E. Constien

Jeffrey Constien is an associate with the firm’s Chicago office where he concentrates his practice in workers’ compensation defense. Prior to joining BCM Law, Mr. Constien practiced as a tax attorney where he represented small business owners and self-employed individuals in negotiating tax liability with the IRS and various state departments of revenue; researched, drafted, and negotiated Offer in Compromises, Collection Due Process or Equivalent Hearings petitions, Reasonable Cause Penalty Abatements proposals, and 433A Collection Information Statements before the IRS, the California Franchise Tax Board, and the New York Department of Taxation and Finance.
Mr. Constien also worked as an E-Discovery Coordinator Team Lead Attorney. He coordinated with corporate law departments and “Big Law” firms in large e-discovery projects, performed criminal and civil investigative document review and completed discovery production projects focused on product liability, patent infringement, construction defects, mergers and acquisitions, and contracts in areas of finance, construction, education, healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
