Neel Mookerjee

Neel Mookerjee joined Brady, Connolly, & Masuda’s Bloomington-Normal office in June 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Neel worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the Missouri Attorney General’s Office defending the State of Missouri against workers’ compensation claims brought by state employees. He has extensive experience handling all stages of the defense of workers’ compensation claims, and has defended clients successfully at the Commission and Appellate levels in Missouri and Illinois.
Along with his work advocating on behalf of our clients, Neel has also presented for clients on topics ranging from effective use of impairment ratings in litigation, strategies to best utilize independent medical evaluations to strengthen defenses, to providing case law updates to keep clients apprised of the latest developments in the workers’ compensation field. Neel has also assisted clients in training new claims adjusters providing an introduction to the Missouri and Illinois Workers’ Compensation Acts, and the basics of claims handling in both states.
Neel grew up in Bloomington, IL and graduated from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He continued his education at Southern Illinois University School of Law earning his law degree in May 2007.
Neel is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois.
